Interactions between ice, ocean and geosphere at the Riiser-Larsen Ice Shelf
Geophysics seminary by Dr. Hannes Eisermann (AWI) on 30.1.24 at 13:15

The Geophysics Research Seminar has a long tradition at our faculty - this is where new members of the geophysics groups introduce themselves scientifically, initial expedition results are shared and doctoral students present their interim results. Students, doctoral candidates, postdocs, seniors and also non-specialists with an interest in geophysics topics are cordially invited to our discussion-friendly seminar.
Here is the program of the winter semester 2023/24 starting today:
07.Nov.2023: Anna Katharina Baltz - The infill and environmental evolution of the northeastern Elbe Paleo Valley (Danish EEZ)
14.Nov.2023: Raghu Ram Gudipati - Asymmetry and evolution of craton influenced rifted margins
05.Dez.2023: Karim Norouzi Moghanjoghi - Numerical modelling challenges of the rift margin simulation
19.Dez.2023: Tilo von Dobeneck, Yang Zhang, Nikolas Römer-Stange - A combined magneto-, cyclo- and seismostratigraphy of Baffin Bay MEBO and gravity cores (MSM Expedition 111)
09.Jan.2024: Aike Albers - Seismic Exploration of a Potential CCS Reservoir in a Basaltic Aquifer on the Eastern Juan de Fuca Ridge Flank
30.Jan.2024: Hannes Eisermann - Interactions between ice, ocean and geosphere at the Riiser-Larsen Ice Shelf
